Elgar Nimrod from Enigma Variations

Edward Elgar - Nimrod from Enigma Variations Op.36 for Four Violas (arr. Sancho Engaño)
Clifton Harrison | violas 1-4

We are now up to Episode 4 of my series: One Camera, One Take. As we continue to self-isolate, music still finds a way to reach us all. Like many of my music colleagues, my heart is missing performing and connecting with people through music. Here I present Edward Elgar's beautiful Nimrod from his Enigma Variations, originally written for full symphony orchestra. The arrangement here is by Sancho Engaño and is available on the Absolute Zero Viola Quartet website (http://www.absolutezeroviola4.com/). Do check it out. I hope you enjoy this performance. It is recorded on one camera and in one take. This way the performance feels more like a live concert, warts and all. :)
